Ledge: Tap & Track (“Ledge,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a local-first expense tracking app designed to help you log purchases simply and privately.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect personal information from you.

Ledge does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, bank credentials, payment card information, or other personal financial information to use the app.

Any expense data you enter into the app, including transaction amounts, categories, budgets, and notes, is stored locally on your device.

The information you enter into Ledge is used only to provide the app’s core functionality on your device, such as:

We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your data to third parties.

Because your data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers, we do not have access to it and cannot share it.

4. Analytics, Tracking, and Advertising

We do not use third-party analytics tools.

We do not track you across apps, websites, or services.

We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or profiling.

5. Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app.

If you back up your device using Apple or another backup provider, your app data may be included in those backups according to that provider’s terms and settings.

6. Data Deletion

You can delete your data by deleting entries in the app or by deleting the app from your device.

Deleting the app may remove locally stored data from your device, subject to your device and backup settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

Ledge is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

Ledge is designed to keep your data on your device. The security of that data depends in part on the security of your device and any backup services you use, including your device passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and backup settings.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated version at the current Privacy Policy URL and revise the Effective Date above.
